We have used numerous deck stains on our IPE wood. Nothing seems to last more then 3-6 months. Scott at OPW suggested that we try the Sierra Redwood color from Armstrong. Good choice as we now get 2 years before we need to clean and re stain the deck.

Hi and sorry for the delay in response! Next time we should try the Armstrong Clark in Mahogany. It is a better color and should last a little longer as well!
