New Cedar Deck in Waterford, MI
We used OPW after getting a referral from Steve at Distinctive Building built our new cedar deck. It is a small 14x14 deck and they charged $400 for the deck cleaning and staining using the TimberOil. We went to their store numerous times to pick out the color called Brown Sugar. After the deck was done we had two minor issues. One was that the flooring looked lighter then the railings. OPW applied another coat of stain to fix this at no cost. The other was some spots on our vinyl siding. Scott came out to look at the siding and explained that it was not stain but oxidation from the vinyl siding. Evidently when they cleaned the deck that needed to rinse the siding down. This removed the white "chalky" oxidation. So in actuality the spots we saw were cleaned areas of the siding.

A light cleaning of all the vinyl siding surrounding the deck took care of the issue!

Vinyl siding can oxidize through the years. After we are done cleaning a deck we need to rinse all siding to remove the dirt. In this case the oxidation was so bad that is "spot" cleaned the siding.

Stain can have a tendency to absorb more into flooring as the wood there can be pretty dried out. Applying a light coat of stain fixed the minor issue.
